Weekend Pickups: Spin Doctor Truing Stand

This last weekend, I finally got enough time and money to pick up some new tools. The thing I am most excited about is my brand new Spin Doctor Truing Stand that I purchased for $70 over at Performance Bikes. This has been long overdue! I've been riding for three years and ever since, I have had to either take my wheels to a shop or deal with the wobble. In my commuting/mashing days, this wasn't too big of a deal but now that I trick, my wheels have been a mess (180 lbs + Stairs=Untrue Rims). Being able to ride on a set of straight wheels is amazing and its all thanks to this truing stand. My first impression was that it felt pretty sturdy and should be sufficient for what I'm using it for. In my opinion, it's low price tag and compact-ability make this truing stand ideal for home use. This was also the first time I've ever used a truing stand and I think this stand made it easier to learn. After some more usage, I'll do a little review on it!
