Weekend Pickups: Fuji Finepix AX245w
I'm super stoked to not rely on my Iphone 3g camera anymore! This weekend, I purchased a Fuji Finepix AX245w, an 8gb Patriot SD Card, and some Sanyo Eneloop Batteries. Although this is no DSLR, its a handy little camera that I can take wherever I ride without being too afraid of damaging it. I'm really digging the 12 mega pixels and it's ability to shoot in HD but the portability of the camera is what I'm most excited about. With this new camera, I'll be taking a lot more photos ranging from bikes to weird people I see around town. Whatever it may be, their will be tons more photos on this blog. So far, the camera has been super bomb. The picture quality is real nice, it feels pretty sturdy, easy to navigate menu, and the battery life isn't too bad. The camera isn't all great though. The focusing sucks and the custom shooting section is poor. You can't even adjust the aperture. My box also did not come with a manual which I actually read (skim). Despite these flaws, I'm still stoked on this purchase and you guys should be stoked for the increase in pictures!
